To save the forest from fast depletion and to make the use of the waste product of sugar canes-viz. baggasse, a paper plant of capacity 20 TPD was set up in 1983. This factory is another example for Tatyasaheb Kore's foresight. The factory utilises non-conventional material baggasse for the production of the paper and succeeded in producing the paper along with earning the appreciation from the government.
